The move combines Canal+’s global reach with MultiChoice’s strong presence in Africa.

It is expected to give MultiChoice access to more resources, expertise, and international opportunities while strengthening its position in the African media and entertainment industry.

The deal is expected to support future investments in local content, digital services, and entertainment offerings, while subscription prices and billing arrangements will remain unchanged for existing customers.

MultiChoice operates platforms including DStv, GOtv, and Showmax, providing entertainment, sports, and news content to millions of subscribers across sub-Saharan Africa.
