February 12, (THEWILL) — Nollywood actor Uzor Arukwe has threatened legal action against social media users spreading false and defamatory claims about his personal life and professional relationships.
The rumours suggested an affair between Arukwe and his colleague Bambam, following the viral success of their 2025 YouTube film, ‘Love In Every Word.
Arukwe addressed the issue on his verified X account, warning that those responsible would face consequences for damaging his reputation.
He wrote:
“A specific account has been identified to spread false rumors and baseless accusations about me and my professional engagement with another colleague in the industry. I choose not to quote the account directly, as I refuse to give such accounts the engagement they seek at the risk of jail time.
“Believe me when I say this: that individual will be made a scapegoat so others learn to respect boundaries and refrain from chasing clout and Elon Musk money at the expense of damaging someone else’s reputation.”
The rumours about Bambam and Teddy A’s marriage grew after the couple unfollowed each other on Instagram, fueling speculation of possible tension.
However, neither Arukwe nor the couple has confirmed any issues.
Arukwe stressed that his relationship with Bambam is strictly professional and reiterated that he will take legal action against anyone who spreads false information about him.
