April 18, (THEWILL) — Ice Spice was involved in a physical altercation at a McDonald’s in Los Angeles earlier this week, in what her lawyer described as an “unprovoked attack.”
The incident took place on 15 April 2026 and was captured on surveillance footage later shared online. The video shows the rapper sitting in a booth with a friend when a woman approached their table.
The woman, identified as Vayah, appeared to start a conversation before the situation escalated. Footage shows her moving closer and slapping the rapper, leading to a brief fight inside the restaurant.
The altercation continued outside after the woman was escorted out. Additional clips show a second confrontation in the street, where both were involved in another fight.
In a statement, Ice Spice’s attorney, Bradford Cohen, said the incident has been reported to the Los Angeles Police Department.
He added that legal action is being considered, including possible criminal and civil charges. The legal team is also reviewing whether the location had enough security.
The woman involved said she approached the rapper to give a compliment, but claimed the situation escalated after an exchange of insults.
The incident has since gone viral on social media, drawing mixed reactions from fans.
Ice Spice has not issued a formal statement.
