March 31, (THEWILL) — R&B star, Brandy Norwood, has been honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, marking a major milestone in her more than 30-year career in music, television, and film.

The 2,839th star was unveiled on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 6201 Hollywood Boulevard in Los Angeles.

Among those in attendance were producer Kenneth “Babyface” Edmonds and actress and producer Issa Rae, who praised her impact on entertainment. Friends and collaborators, including Monica and Kehlani, also joined the celebration.

Brandy called the honour “mind-blowing” and said it symbolises her legacy and the hard work she has put into her career. She added that growing up near Hollywood made her dreams feel “close enough to touch”.

The unveiling came a day before the release of her memoir, “Phases”.

Brandy first rose to fame in the mid‑1990s with her self-titled debut album and lead roles in projects such as the sitcom Moesha. She has earned multiple Grammy nominations and won a Grammy in 1999 for her duet with Monica on “The Boy Is Mine”.

Her new Walk of Fame star celebrates Brandy’s influence on music and culture and her lasting legacy in the entertainment industry.
