March 03, (THEWILL) — Music mogul Sean Diddy Combs is now expected to be released from prison on April 25, 2028, earlier than the previous date of June 4, 2028, according to records from the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Combs, 56, is serving a 50‑month federal sentence at Fort Dix Federal Correctional Institution in New Jersey after being convicted on two counts of transporting individuals to engage in prostitution.

He was acquitted of more serious racketeering and sex trafficking charges during his trial in 2025.

The adjustment to his release date comes after Combs was accepted into a Residential Drug Abuse Program (RDAP) in November 2025.

Participation in RDAP can allow qualifying inmates to reduce their time in prison if they fully engage with the program.

His representatives said he has been “fully engaged in his work, focused on growth, and committed to positive change.”

While at Fort Dix, Combs has taken on a role as a chaplain’s assistant in the prison chapel.

His original release date was May 8, 2028, which was later moved to June 4 before this latest adjustment.

He previously filed an appeal seeking a shorter sentence or early release, but prosecutors opposed it in February 2026.

His team has asked the public to respect his privacy and focus on his progress, emphasizing that he has not violated any prison rules and remains committed to personal growth.
