The milestone comes amid strong chart success in 2026. His collaboration with Asake, titled “Jogodo”, has spent 46 days at No. 1 on the Spotify Nigeria Daily Top Songs chart. The song also topped the UK Official Afrobeats Chart for five weeks and finished February as the most-streamed Nigerian track of the year so far.

Wizkid has also crossed 10 billion streams on the platform, becoming the first African artist to reach that mark. In addition, he was featured on Billboard’s list of the 100 greatest pop songs of the streaming era.

ChartMasters states that its rankings are updated daily based on ongoing sales and streaming data. Under its current calculations, Wizkid remains the highest-ranked African artist on the global all-time list.
