April 01, (THEWILL) — Nigerian singer, Simi, has announced the arrival of her second child with her husband, Adekunle Gold.
She shared the news on Instagram on Wednesday, revealing that the baby was born on March 10, 2026.
“+1, 3.10.26. God bless my little family #mommyof2”, she wrote.
The announcement confirms that Simi is now a mother of two. She has not revealed the gender of the baby.
Her post also puts to rest earlier reports that the couple had welcomed twins in January.
The couple first hinted at the pregnancy in December 2025 through the music video for Adekunle Gold’s song “My Love Is The Same”, which featured a visibly pregnant Simi.
Simi and Adekunle Gold, who got married in a private ceremony in January 2019, welcomed their first child, a daughter, Adejare Kosoko, in 2020.
Fans and well-wishers have since flooded social media with congratulatory messages for the family.
