January 30, (THEWILL) — Singer Harrysong has spoken out after his ex-wife, Alexer Peres, announced that she was temporarily giving up custody of their two children.
Alexer had earlier shared an emotional post on Instagram, accusing the singer of harassment and interference.
She alleged that Harrysong often appeared unannounced and interfered with her parenting, making it difficult for her to care for the children.
In response, Harrysong denied restricting her access to the children and described himself as a present and responsible father who continues to provide for their needs.
He explained that he has avoided prolonged public exchanges to protect the children, adding that the narrative being shared online has been hurtful.
The singer said his priority remains the well-being, safety, and future of the children.
He wrote,
“I’ve chosen restraint to protect the mother of my children and, most importantly, our kids because what’s said online lives forever. I previously made the mistake of speaking from emotion and learnt the hard way. I never said she couldn’t have access to them.
“They’ve been in my custody is a decision made for reasons u can’t put out on the internet. I’ve remained active, present father and have continued to provide for our children, even while they were in her care.
“The current narrative online is deeply hurtful and risks damaging the very image and career that supports our children. Is it worth it? I won’t engage in public back-and-forth that could one day harm them. My focus remains their well-being”.
