Supernatural’ Actress Carrie Anne Fleming Passes Away At 51

March 23, (THEWILL) — Canadian actress, Carrie Anne Fleming, known for her roles in “Supernatural” and “iZombie”, has died at the age of 51.

Her representative confirmed that she passed away on February 26, 2026, in Canada following complications from breast cancer.

“She died peacefully with her loved ones by her side”, the representative said. “It was a great privilege to have known Carrie. She was a beautiful soul, inspiring, and above all, kind. She will be greatly missed.”

Fleming was born in August 1974 in Digby, Nova Scotia, and later moved to British Columbia, where she trained in drama at local theatre groups.

She began her career with roles in TV series such as “Viper” and appeared in films including “Happy Gilmore”. Over time, she became known for her work in horror, sci-fi, and fantasy movies and series.

Her television credits include appearances in “Supergirl”, “The L Word”, “Smallville” and “Stargate SG-1”, among others.

Tributes have since been shared by colleagues, including Jim Beaver, who played her on-screen husband in “Supernatural”. He recalled meeting Fleming on set and praised her personality.

“She was a powerhouse of vitality and goodwill and amazingly good nature, with a rapturous laugh and an utterly adorable personality that didn’t seem to have an off switch,” he wrote.

Fleming is survived by her daughter, Madalyn Rose.
