March 09, (THEWILL) — Reality TV star and entrepreneur, Tacha, has officially unveiled her plaques for two Guinness World Records in makeup artistry.
The records recognise her completing 82 cosmetic makeovers in eight hours and 143 makeovers in 24 hours during a marathon session at the Tacha Beauty Festival in Lagos in October 2025. Both achievements were officially certified by Guinness World Records.
Tacha shared the plaques on social media and dedicated the awards to women pursuing their dreams despite doubts and setbacks.
“For anyone that knows me, you already know I like to do things myself… one-man mopo. Not because I enjoy doing everything alone, but because sometimes if you want something done right, you have to be involved in the process”, she wrote.
She explained that organising the three-day beauty festival and attempting two world records was challenging, particularly after some brands withdrew support at the last minute.
She added that many people questioned how one person could balance influencing, advocacy, entrepreneurship, and professional makeup artistry, but she proved it was possible.
Dedicating the awards to women striving for their dreams, she said: “Every woman who is still dreaming, every woman who sometimes doubts herself but still keeps going… whatever you put your mind to do, you can achieve it.”
The achievement cements Tacha’s influence in beauty, entertainment, and business.
