June 2, (THEWILL)- Penultimate week, the Real Estate Development Association of Nigeria (REDAN) pulled all the stops to celebrate its 5th anniversary. It was also an opportunity to hold the investiture of Akintoye Adeoye as the 5th President of the association. He took over from Bamidele Onalaja.
The anniversary party, which was quite successful, was coordinated by the Group Managing Director of Gracias Group, Dr Ololade Valentina Abuta, in her capacity as Chairperson of the Contact and Public Alliance Committee of REDAN. Others who saw to the success of the event were Group Managing Director, Adron Homes, Adetola Emmanuel King and CEO, Victoria Crest Homes, Kennedy Okonkwo, who also doubled as the Investiture Committee Chairperson.
The event, which took place at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, was themed ‘Distribution National Prosperity and Wealth Creation Through a Transparent Real Sector,’ with the Minister of Housing and Urban Development, Arc. Ahmed Musa Dangiwa, as the Chairman, and HIM Oba Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, in full attendance.
Other real estate personalities in attendance were the founding partner of Diya, Fatimilehin and Co, Gboyega Fatimilehin, the immediate past president (IPP), Alhaji (Dr) Aliyu Ciroma Wamakko, who gave the valedictory speech; Oba Saheed Elegushi; Udo Okonjo; the Alara of Epeland, Oba Olufolarin Ogunsanwo, among many others.
