July 27, (THEWILL) – An alumnus of Big Brother Naija, Ike Onyema has warned broadcast journalist, Chinedu Ani Emmanuel, aka Nedu Wazobia and Mike Eze Nwalie Nwogu, aka Pretty Mike, to desist from insinuating that his fellow alumnus and ex-girlfriend, Mercy Eke, took care of him while they dated.
Mercy Eke and Ike Onyema started their romance in the Big Brother Naija house, but parted ways a few months after their season ended.
Speaking with Nedu, Pretty Mike, and other hosts on a podcast, Mercy Eke made a statement about once dating someone she took care of.
Pretty Mike and Nedu speedily concluded that she was referring to Ike Onyema, even though Mercy Eke didn’t confirm it.
Reacting to the video, Ike Onyema on his Instagram page expressed his displeasure over the insinuations, while issuing a stern warning to the hosts.
He wrote, “I am making a bold statement that no lady, whosoever, has taken care of me. If anyone claims otherwise, they should bring out receipts of one thing they have done.
“@nedu_wazobiafm and @prettymikeoflagos please be careful how you involve yourself in things you have no idea of the background story.
“I respect the both of you, but I would not hesitate to call you guys out if I’m being disrespected to please your principals and the bosses that hired you.”
