February 24, (THEWILL) — Nigerian billionaire Razaq Okoya, founder of the Eleganza Group, revealed in a viral video that his younger children will take over his business empire.

The video comes shortly after his son, Raheem Okoya, also known as Siraheem, spoke about growing up in a large family.

Raheem shared that his father has 26 children from nine women and that he is the 23rd child.

In the video, Chief Okoya explained that he is intentionally grooming the younger children he shares with his wife, Shade Okoya, to manage and inherit the business.

“They must learn things the way we are doing it. They hold the future. I have to pass it on to them. I don’t want them to fail like their senior ones,” he said.

Okoya stressed that experience is the most important lesson for running a business.

He added, “Number one is the experience. Number two, they have to learn how to be focused, honest, determined, and punctual.”

He added that although one of his daughters lives in Europe, she often returns home to visit the factory and learn how the business operates.

He believed that real knowledge comes from being directly involved.

The video has sparked conversations online, with Nigerians sharing their views on his succession plan and what it could mean for the family.
