Not cool, Coolio. Not cool.
The “Fantastic Voyage” rapper, whose real name is Artis Leon Ivey, was charged Thursday with possession of a firearm by a felon with two priors, the Los Angeles Country District Attorney’s Office announced.
On Sept. 17, a handgun was allegedly found in the 53-year-old’s luggage as he passed through baggage screening at Los Angeles International Airport.
Coolio has previous convictions for carrying a concealed weapon in a vehicle in 2001 and drug possession in 2009.
The rapper, who was set to be arraigned later on Thursday, faces up to three years in prison if convicted of the charge.
