SAN FRANCISCO, November 15, (THEWILL) – British entertainer, Des O’Connor, has died at the age of 88, his agent said Saturday.
The deceased comedian and television host died inside his Buckinghamshire home about a week ago.
According to the statement by his agent, O’Connor was “well-loved by absolutely everybody”.
Also, his long-time agent and family friend, Pat Lake-Smith, described him as the “ultimate entertainer” saying that the late actor was almost recovering from the fall before his condition deteriorated.
“He was a joy to work with; he was talented, fun, positive, enthusiastic, kind and a total professional. He loved life, and considered enthusiasm almost as important as oxygen.”
THEWILL writes that the entertainer was renowned for hosting his own chat show as well as Take Your Pick and Countdown.

He was married four times during his lifetime and famously said his first three failed marriages were casualties of his obsession with his work.
The marriage between him and his long-term girlfriend, Jodie Brooke Wilson, who was 37 years his junior, gave birth to their son, Adam when the comedian was 72.
