SAN FRANCISCO, August 28, (THEWILL) – The family of veteran Nigerian actor, Jimmy Johnson, who is renowned for his role “Okoro” in now rested “The village headmaster” TV series, has fixed Saturday for the burial of the late actor.
According to Rotimi Sankore, who disclosed this in a statement on behalf of the family, the interment will be done in line with COVID-19 protocols.
THEWILL had last month reported the death of the actor after he suffered from surgery complications in a hospital in Abuja. He was aged 80.
“The family of Jimmy Johnson, retired senior civil servant, veteran actor, artiste and broadcaster wishes to announce that he will be buried at Gudu cemetery, Abuja, on Saturday, August 29, 2020, in line with COVID-19 protocols,” the statement read.
