June 26, (THEWILL) – Reno Omokri, the former aide to ex-president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, has made his view about the travail of the former deputy senate president, Ike Ekweremadu known.
The politician and his wife were arrested by the London Metropolitan Police on allegations of organ harvesting of a minor.
The organ is for Sonia, Ekweremadu’s daughter, who is undertaking dialysis in London.
Omokri took to Instagram to make his view known. According to him, he would go to any extent to save any of his children in a delicate condition like Sonia, Ekweremadu’s daughter. But he will ensure he goes about it the legal way.
“If any of my children need organs to save their life (God forbid), and my wife and I are not a match, I will do anything legally possible to get them a match, including paying a willing adult to donate their organ for them.
“And even, “legally” is qualified. If my child is dying and I can bend the rule to save their life, what would I do? Perhaps, I can’t answer that question here.
“Majority of people that are active on social media are young adults who do not have children. So, they don’t know the length to which love for your children can drive you.
“That is why they are spilling and spreading vitriol against people who are in a state of grief. I empathise greatly with the Ekweremadus and I hope they are vindicated, and continue to wish Ekweremadu well. May God be with them in Christ’s name.
