I’m Suffering For What I Didn’t Do – Peter Nwachukwu

June 04, (THEWILL) – Peter Nwachukwu, husband of late gospel singer, Osinachi Nwachukwu, has stated that he being punished unjustly.

He made this known after he was arraigned on Friday, by a High Court of the Federal Capital Territory in Wuse, Abuja.

In a video recorded by Channels TV, Nwachukwu complained of being held unjustly. He also stated that he is suffering for what he did not do. And that his wife died as a result of cancer of the lungs.

“I have suffered a lot. I was abandoned. My wife died of cancer of the lungs. I am suffering from what I didn’t pass through, I didn’t do.”

Recall that Nwachukwu was sued by the Attorney General of the Federation on a 23-count charge over his alleged role in the death of his wife, Osinachi.

He was accused of forcefully ejecting Osinachi from the family home. He also attempted culpable homicide by pushing the singer from a moving car.

He allegedly deprived her form her medication and prevented her family from visiting her.

Nwachukwu was also accused of restraining her movement by locking her in the house. And he abused her verbally, emotionally and psychologically.

Nwachukwu was remanded in Kuje correctional facility until the conclusion of his trial.
