March 31, (THEWILL) — Kanye West, also known as Ye, has been announced as the headliner for all three nights of the Wireless Festival 2026.

The festival will take place from July 10 to 12 at Finsbury Park. Organizers say his return will be a major moment for the event.

It will be his first major performance in the UK since he headlined the Glastonbury Festival in 2015.

The rapper is expected to perform songs from across his career, including tracks from albums such as “The College Dropout”, “Graduation”, and “The Life of Pablo”.

The announcement comes shortly after the release of his 12th studio album, “Bully”.

West’s return follows years of controversy over antisemitic comments, which led to backlash and the loss of major business deals, including the end of his partnership with Adidas in 2022.

In early 2026, Ye shared a public letter in the Wall Street Journal titled “To Those I’ve Hurt,” where he linked his past behaviour to bipolar type-1 disorder and a previously undiagnosed injury from his 2002 car accident. He said he regrets his actions and has since issued public apologies.

Despite this, the announcement has drawn criticism from some groups and members of the public, who question giving him such a major platform.

In recent years, West has slowly returned to live performances, including appearances at the Rolling Loud festival and shows in several countries.

No other artists have been announced yet for the 2026 Wireless Festival lineup.

The event attracts about 50,000 fans each day and remains one of the UK’s biggest music festivals.
