June 24, (THEWILL) – Charles Chukwemeka Oputa, also known as Charly Boy, or Area fada, has stated that the presence of Labour Party (LP) Presidential aspirant, Peter Obi, has ignited something good in the mind of Nigerians.
Two weeks ago, Labour Party issued a certificate of return to Peter Obi, after defecting to the party in May.
Charly Boy revealed that it is possible for Obi to win and there is the possiblity that he could lose the election as well, but his emergence is an eye opener for Nigerians that the change they need is to be backed up by action. And the Nigerian youths are indeed ready for a change in leadership of the country.
“I am smelling a “bloodless coup” in the making of ordinary Nigerians to retrieve their stolen future. Peter Obi may or may not become our President at the end of the day, but his presence has activated something unusual in our history and ordinary Nigerians.”
Since his emergence as the choice candidate for Labour Party, a lot of celebrities have been canvassing for support from Nigerians for Obi.
Some celebrities have staged an open campaign asking Nigerians to get their Permanent Voter Cards (PVC) and prepare to vote in the coming general elections.
They have been using the social media as a medium to sentitise Nigerians to elect the right candidate in 2023.
