BEVERLY HILLS, February 27, (THEWILL) – Nigerian singer, Ric Hassani, has announced the death of his father just a few hours after he dropped his latest album, “The Prince I Became.”
The musician and songwriter took to his Twitter account on Friday to announce the news saying that his father died a week ago.
He did not reveal the circumstances of the death of his father.
In one of the posts, he described his late father as a very good person who taught him a lot of things.
“A week ago today, I lost my Dad. He was a great man, a very good person. I learnt so much from him, and he is my angel now. Rest in peace daddy, ‘K.K’ loves you,” he wrote.
In another post, he applauded his late father’s contribution to “Korede,” a track in the newly-released album.
“People like your song Dad, I knew your vocals on it will be good. Wish you were here, just one more week. But God knows best,” he added.
