‘Superman’ Director, Richard Donner, 91, Is Dead

July 06, (THEWILL) – Hollywood Director, Richard Donner, who was known for his work on the original “Superman” film, has died at the age of 91.

Lauren Shuler Donner, his wife, announced the news, stating that the deceased died  on Monday.

She, however, did not state the cause of his death.

THEWILL writes that Donner was also known for directing the 1985 classic, “The Goonies” and the “Lethal Weapon” series.

Tributes have continued to pour in for the deceased on social media platforms as words of his demise spread.
