It’s a fashion mystery.
In a new profile on Christian Louboutin’s home in Portugal, it is revealed the shoe designer, 53, is the father of 2-year-old twins.
At Louboutin’s “compound of low-slung whitewashed bungalows . . . set off a dirt road outside of Melides,” WSJ. Magazine reports the designer’s “ curly-haired daughters, fraternal twins, now nearly 2 years old, toddle around happily.” But little else is known about the girls, or how big their shoe collection might already be.
Louboutin is single after years with his former partner, landscape designer Louis Benech.
The footwear genius — who has 131 stores and is adding 12 more — adds to WSJ., “I’ve never had business goals. I don’t understand how people do that.”
