June 28, (THEWILL) — Popular Nigerian television host, Frank Edoho, has offered rare personal insights into the breakdown of his two marriages, reflecting on the lessons he has learned in the course of his relationships.

Speaking during a candid conversation on the Tea With Tay podcast, the Who Wants To Be A Millionaire presenter revealed that his second marriage has also ended, years after his first marriage to actress Katherine Obiang ended in 2011.

Edoho remarried in April 2014 to Sandra Onyenuchenuya, with whom he has children. However, the union, he confirmed, has since dissolved.

Reflecting on both relationships, the veteran broadcaster stated that while he invested deeply in his marriages, he harbours no resentment toward his former partners.

“I know that I went above and beyond for the two marriages. I carried my partner. I can abandon everything for her. But you don’t blame them for falling out of love with you,” he said.

Edoho admitted that one possible reason his marriages failed was his inability to find a true soulmate. “Maybe I’m not good at marriage, I must confess. The two women I had been married to are not my soul mates,” he said.

He went on to explain the distinction between a soulmate and the love of one’s life: “The love of your life is the person who comes to your mind when you think of love. But your soul mate is someone who understands you even before you express yourself and you naturally align with.”

Edoho urged those facing similar marital challenges to seek fulfillment within themselves, rather than relying solely on external relationships for happiness.

“Find happiness in yourself. Don’t, because you’re married, stop doing what makes you who you are. After all, that is what your partner fell in love with. What I do now is that I am happy by myself,” he added.
