June 26, (THEWILL) – Simone Ledward Boseman, wife of late actor, Chadwick Boseman and his parents, Leroy and Carolyn Boseman, will split the money he rightfully earned before his untimely demise.
Boseman lost the battle to colon cancer in 2020, leaving his wife, aged parents and two siblings.
Since he didn’t have a will at the time of his death, his wife Simone Ledward, was appointed personal representative with limited authority over his estate.
Ledward has asked a California court to approve the estate being distributed 50% to the late actor’s parents and the other half to herself, according to Radar online.
Radar online obtained the final report of accounting filed by Ledward, noting that she revealed the “total inventoried value of Boseman’s estate as $3,881,758.31.”
The $2.3million that is estimated to be split between his parents and his widow was cut about a million due to $900k being held as bond in the case and $157k in cash.
