March 18, Olufunke, wife of Chike Ogeah, a former Information Commissioner for Delta State, is dead.

She reportedly died after a prolonged illness on Sunday, at the age of 62.

In a statement issued by the former Information Commissioner, he expressed gratitude for the overwhelming support and condolences received from friends and associates during this difficult time.

He also said funeral arrangements will be announced in due course.

Olufunke is survived by her husband, her 91-year-old mother, Kanyi-sola Sophia Koya, her daughter, two sons, a grandson, a brother, and three sisters.
