July 1, (THEWILL) – On Air Personality, Stephanie Coker Aderinokun, has advised Nigerians not to judge the marriage institution by the challenges some of their celebrities faced in their union.
The mother of one made this known in her Instagram story on Friday.
According to her, it is not only celebrities marriages that are “constantly crashing”. Their own is just obvious because it is usually the most publicised.
“Celebrity marriages are not constantly crashing. They are just the most publicised. Medical professionals, lawyers, bankers, the list goes on, they also get divorced.
“Stop using celebrity marriages to encourage/deter you from tying the knot.
“This message is for team “my marriage will work in Jesus name commenters.”
Her advice is coming after series of mixed reaction trailed the collapse of actress Funke Akindele-Bello’s marriage.
Fans who have been looking up the the actress as their role model felt disappointed and started expressing their fear about the marriage institution
