July 13, (THEWILL) – Fashion designer, Folake Akindele of the Tiffany Amber fame is bereaved. She has lost one of her sisters, Ayodele Adebimpe, to the cold hands of death.

Ayodele passed away on July 3, 2024, at the age of 48 after an undisclosed illness.

Described as a joyful soul loved by all, the deceased impacted many with her kindness and generosity. Her philanthropic approach to life was inspiring to all and a challenge to many.

A two-day funeral programme has been lined up, beginning on Monday, July 15, with a Christian Wake Keep at the Balmoral Hall, Federal Palace Hotel, Victoria Island, Lagos. Her funeral service will be held on Tuesday, July 16 at Hoares Memorial Methodist Church, Yaba, followed by a private interment.

The deceased’s late father, Chief Bode Akindele, the Parakoyi of Ibadanland and Founder/Chairman of the Modandola Group, passed away on June 29, 2020, at the age of 87.
