July 1, (THEWILL) – Newly married American singer, Travis Barker, has been hospitalised, because he has pancreatitis and doctors believe it was triggered by colonoscopy.
Colonoscopy is a procedure, in which a flexible fibre-optic instrument is inserted through the anus in order to examine the colon.
Multiple sources connected to the family revealed to TMZ that his hospitalisation is as a result of inflammation of the pancreas, which includes symptoms like intense stomach pain, nausea and vomiting.
However, the source did not reveal when he had the colonoscopy, but it was recent.
His wife, Kourtney Kardashian, took Barker to the West Hill Hospital near their home. From there, he was taken by ambulance to Cedars-Sinar Medical Center in Los-Angeles, one of the best facilities in the country.
Barker’s daughter, Alabama, posted and deleted a picture of her dad while he rested on hospital bed.
It was pretty evidence Barker was in severe pain during his ordeal, tweeting, “God save me”, from his Twitter account.
Kardashian, wife of the singer, has been by her husband’s bed side since he was admitted.
